What Do Trader Club's A–D Chart Grades Mean?
Trader Club's AI Chart Reader gives any chart you upload a grade from A to D. It's meant to be a fast, plain-English read on how a setup looks — but it's easy to misread what that grade is for, so let's be crystal clear.
What the grade IS
The grade is a technical-pattern score for education. It reflects how clean and readable the chart structure is:
- A — a tidy, clear setup: an obvious trend, clean levels, orderly structure.
- B — a solid setup with a small caveat or two.
- C — mixed or unclear: no obvious structure, or conflicting signals.
- D — messy, choppy, or breaking down: hard to read anything reliable into it.
Alongside the letter, the reader explains the pattern it sees, the key levels, a plain-English summary, and the bear case — so you learn why, not just the score.
What the grade is NOT
Why grade charts at all, then?
Because when you're learning, it's genuinely useful to get a second read on what you're looking at. If you thought a chart looked strong and the AI calls it a messy "C" with a clear reason, that's a teaching moment — it points your eye at what you missed. Over time, comparing your read to the AI's read is how the vocabulary in these guides becomes second nature.
Use it as a tutor, not an oracle
The best way to use the grade is as a learning tool: upload a chart, read the explanation, and ask yourself whether you agree and why. The AI can be wrong or incomplete — it's reading an image, not the news or the fundamentals. Always verify against the real source and make your own decisions.
