How Trader Club Works — Data & Methodology
We believe transparency is the foundation of trust, so here's exactly how everything works.
Our data
U.S. market data comes from professional market-data providers. We don't invent numbers — prices, volumes and percentages come straight from the market feed (and may be delayed).
How we pick the "biggest movers"
Each day we scan the whole market and surface the top gainers, losers, and most-active stocks, filtered for real tradability (a sensible price range and a meaningful volume threshold) so the list isn't cluttered with untradeable noise.
How "why it moved" works
We pair each big move with real, recent headlines from reputable news sources. If there's no clear news behind a move, we say so plainly — "no clear catalyst, this looks momentum-driven" — rather than inventing a story to fill the gap.
How the A–D chart grade works
The grade is a technical-pattern score for education — a read on how clean and structured a chart looks — generated by AI vision. It is never a buy or sell signal. An "A" means "tidy setup," not "buy this." Learn more in What the Grades Mean.
Our editorial guardrails
Every AI-generated word follows rules we built to keep this safe and honest:
- Never recommend buying, selling, or holding anything.
- Never predict prices or promise returns.
- Never state an unverified negative fact about a company.
- Ground every explanation in the real data and headlines provided.
- Hedge, and clearly label content as AI-assisted and possibly imperfect.
Limitations
AI can be wrong or incomplete. Data can be delayed. Chart patterns fail regularly. Nothing here is financial advice — always verify against primary sources and consider a licensed professional before acting.
